Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain (born Jessica Chastain) is a well-known American film maker, actress and feminist. She has been a the role of strong women in films which include feminist themes. Two Oscars were awarded to her, and she's received a Golden Globe Award. Following her experience in the US show 'Joseph & the Amazing Tecnhicolor dreamcoat' she became interested in acting. Her first stage appearance was in the play "Romeo and Juliet" and then she made her film debut in her role in the drama film "Jolene". Her popularity grew with roles in films such as "Take shelter", "The Help", "Mama" and Interstellar. In the category 'Best Actress,' she won the Golden Globe Award in recognition for her performance as a character from "Zero Dark Thirty". The actress is known best for her portrayal of strong but flawed women and many of her roles are popular for championing feminist ideals.
