Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job after school was that of a real estate agent. That's how she met her future partner, Tarek El Moussa. The couple had great prosperity until the 2008 stock market crash which resulted in a number of real estate investors and homeowners go under. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa had a chance to be financially bankrupted after the market crash in 2008. After moving from a house that was costing them $6,000 a year to a place that was $700, they were close to losing all their possessions. The business and economy as a whole, gradually rebounded. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted an acquaintance to create the audition tapes for HGTV which featured Christina flipping the property over from scratch. Pie Town Productions, a production company in New York City was the first to receive the tape. They were enthralled by Christina and Tarek's love story. They signed an official deal with HGTV in the year 2012. Then, in April of 2013, "Flip of Flop" was launched. Between 2013 and 2017, the series broadcast 92 episode. Christina and Tarek were the two characters in the series, bought properties, which were typically mid-income properties located in Orange County. Tarek handles the demolition, remodeling and design. Christina keeps everything running according to schedule.
