Salma Hayek made her Hollywood debut in Robert Rodriguez's Desperado. The Oscar-nominated performance in Frida was her next significant move. Hayek was also involved with TV, serving as the executive producers of Ugly Betty and other hit shows. Salma Hayek Jimenez is the daughter of Spanish parents as well as a Lebanese dad.
